Canines for African Nature

Our mission at Canines for African Nature is to protect Africa’s most overlooked and threatened wildlife by deploying highly trained detection dogs alongside expert ecologists with over 50 years of combined experience in applied research, conservation genetics, and wildlife monitoring. We promote locally accessible, noninvasive survey methods that overcome visual biases and improve conservation outcomes for the species that need it most.
